Gaming Realms takes Slingo content to Kindred brands

Gaming Realms has announced a new content-based link-up with online gaming operator Kindred Group that is to see the launch of its Slingo Originals portfolio.

The developer and licensor of mobile focused real money games has debuted Slingo content across all 11 Kindred brands, including 32Red, Unibet, Maria Casino and Bingo.com, which serve 25 million customers worldwide.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Kindred and expanding the reach of our content through its great portfolio of brands, which have an extensive following worldwide,” noted Patrick Southon, chief executive of Gaming Realms.

“This partnership will enable us to continue to expand not only our audience reach but also our global footprint, further strengthening the Slingo brand in the UK and Scandinavian markets.”

Slingo titles, including what it states are “hugely popular” Slingo Rainbow Riches, Slingo Extreme and Slingo XXXtreme, will be distributed globally through the company’s aggregation partner Relax Gaming, and will come under Kindred specific operator terms included in the Relax contract.

David Robertson, head of casino, Kindred Group, commented: “At Kindred we are committed and focused on innovation and bringing engaging and entertaining games to our customers worldwide in a secure and sustainable environment.

“Our partnership with Gaming Realms, who share our vision of innovation, will see us launch the hugely popular Slingo games across our platforms, allowing us to stand by our commitment to consistently offer our customers new and exciting content.”

Last month Gaming Realms posted an 18 per cent revenue rise in its interim results for the six months ended June 20, 2019, thanks to the firm’s licensing strategy.

Following the change of strategy after the £11.5m sale of UK real money operating subsidiary Bear Group to River iGaming, the firm reported a 168 per cent year-on-year increase for revenue from licensing for H1 from £600,000 to £1.6m.
